Opinion on "A.I."

     I agree with my professor when he explains how fear tactics are basically just a big marketing scheme. Professor Dinehart stated how "artificial intelligence" is simply just a name created by big media to project hollow assumptions about new technologies. Big media just tells us how these new technologies are going to be powerful enough to run this country one day, but they do not always tell us this in a positive light. This is just an example. New technologies like robots or "A.I." make us think of the movie Walle and how one day everything will just be done for us while we sit back and watch. 

    This is the sad part of new technologies. We need to find a happy medium between laziness and hard work. I feel we should always take the hard work route and avoid using things like emerging technologies to complete daily tasks. Take ChatGBT for example. Kids are using this to write their high school and college papers. Can you imagine? And they are going to run the world some day. Yeah right. My generation barely knows what hard work looks like because they are always given the latest and greatest iPhone or the next best XBOX. Who knows what the next generation will be like.
