Mondays...

     This morning was a tough one. It was the first time in weeks that I needed to wake up before 8 AM. It turns out we did not even have class, but that's okay. I guess me thinking I had class was the only real reason I got out bed this morning. Turns out everyone else felt the same way since they all showed up. Oh well, sometimes this happens. At least I get a good start out of my day. I hope this week goes well. I have to create a cartoon with characters, a title, and a poster for Wednesday's digital media class. This makes me extremely nervous since we have to do all of it on Adobe Illustrator. As we may know by now, Illustrator is not necessarily my enemy, but it is definitely not my friend.

    We are to come up with a cartoon idea, have a background, midground, and foreground, and have at least two characters in the poster. I also will need a title and a subtitle. I believe I could do something like this using Midjourney and Photoshop, but using Illustrator is hard. I know I have said this before, but it is true. Photoshop was much easier to get the hang of. For my cartoon, I want to create a turtle, wearing some kind of fun article of clothing that I have not chosen yet, and he will have a sidekick of possibly a mouse. The mouse will most likely be holding a piece of cheese. The setting will be sunny, maybe a beach, but I am unsure. I still need to come up with their stories and context. Wish me luck!
