Presentation Time!
In class today, we presented our second Adobe Photoshop project. Mine as I like to call it, Sunday Afternoon in the Zoo, turned out to be pretty good. I had posted a picture of my final result in the last blog post, but I adjusted and perfected some things after writing that post, before class on Monday. I wound up adjusting the color, brightness, hue, saturation, and blur effect on a couple of the masks of the animals. The last animal I added, the frog, probably gave me the hardest time with the color and blur of it. It tended to stand out too much. My professor even mentioned how he looked like he was not apart of the photo and if I had blurred him or muted the colors of him a bit more, it would have looked a little bit better. My professor also stated how I can make a business out of this. I can take any animals and throw them into classic paintings and people would pay a decent amount of money for them. He also said how he would use it as a phone background because the idea is just so clever.
I would love to take people's pets and turn them into Mona Lisa or a famous painting. I can just picture an Etsy Shop dedicated to this. I believe I could sell many of these works as long as I kept working on them. Just like they say, practice makes perfect! I feel much better about how far I've come with Adobe Photoshop compared to where I was when we started using it, even if it was only a couple weeks ago.
