My Very Own Finished Seurat
This week we had to finish our second major Adobe Photoshop projects. As previously mentioned, I was working on my own rendition of Georges Seurat's A Sunday Afternoon on the Island of La Grande Jatte. My main changing component was to make some of the human subjects into animals instead. I ended up putting six different animals. These animals consisted of an alligator, a pig, a bird, a poodle, a frog, and another type of dog. I am really proud of how this project turned out considering how little knowledge I had of Adobe Photoshop, even after doing and working on the first project, when going into the creative process behind this final result.
As you can see, if you zoom in, there are little things here and there that I should have worked on a bit more, but I only really noticed them after blowing up the image and having others look at it. My roommate and my boyfriend both love how it turned out, but just said I could have maybe blurred some things a bit more or messed with the filters or colors of some things a bit more. I agree that I could have spent a little more time on this, so I will go in throughout this coming weekend, before presenting on Monday, to make sure it is in tip-top shape for class. Overall, I am super happy with how this turned out!
