Thoughts on Blogs
I would have never guessed that I would ever have a blog. Growing up, you always have thoughts of what you will possibly achieve one day, like becoming a vet or a ballerina or maybe even a mom. But you never think it will be a big feat when you start a blog. If blogging was the next big thing, I would be a fan. It is just like journaling, but with a filter since everyone with access to internet will be able to read it. I love to write, so I do not have an issue with blogging. In fact I think I will thank myself and my digital media professor one day for starting up something like this. Who knows, maybe I will keep up with this hobby and be successful from it one day. I know there are many people with food blogs or travel blogs or even fashion blogs who do this for a living or at least for a steady side hustle.
Blogs feel like a book club or a text message group with all your friends. It is relaxing to sit down at the end of the day and write any thoughts that are on your mind. It can be anything you want. The creativity is in your hands, which is my favorite part about blogging. You have the freedom to do and say as you please, as long as it is appropriate enough to be posted online for the whole world to see under your name. Blogging may seem like a drag to other people, but it is only what you make it. I plan to make this blogging experience as fun as I possibly can. I love that there are no specific guidelines. We are set free to write and let our creative juices flow.
